2144-11 Laser SettingThe laser setting screen specifies the adjustment for laser marker, such as the setting of laser power and scan speed, andmarking quality control.4-11-1 Setting Parameters134578 910111262Description1 Laser Power :Sets the output level of laser power.Setting Range 0.5 to 100.0Reference• Set the laser power in increments of 0.5.• The laser power gradually decreases due to the degradation of laser.Do not use it with the initial value of 100.2 Scan Speed :Specifies the traveling speed of laser on the marking surface.Setting Range 1 to 12000 mm/s (LP-430 / LP-420 / LP-410 / LP-435 / LP-425 /LP-V10 / LP-V15)1 to 6000 mm/s (LP-431 / LP-421 / LP-411 / LP-W052)CAUTION• If too high laser power is set or too slow scan speed is set, it may flame up orburn depending on the material to be used for the marking. At test marking, radiate the laser by setting rather low laser power and rather fast scan speed, check the marking quality, and adjust the setting value gradually.3 Laser Pulse Cycle (Only LP-V / LP-W series) :• LP-V Series : Adjusts the interval of pulse pumping of the laser. When setting larger value for the pulse cycle, the peak power becomes higher. Note that when setting larger value for the pulse cycle, the line tends to bemarked in dot line after scanning with high speed.• LP-W Series : It is valid when duty is set to other than 100%.The time which laser is radiation is ON/OFF duringone laser pulse cycle.Setting Range 10.0 to 50.0μs (LP-V10 / LP-V15)50 to 1000μs (LP-W052)ME-LP400V-OP-6
