Full duplex mode allows simultaneous transmissionand receipt of Ethernet packets.On the Main menu, type 6 (Configure LAN) to display the LANConfiguration menu.Figure 3–5. Type the number of the port, select enable or disable andpress Enter.Establishing LAN Speed and Duplex Mode1. Type the option number of the speed and duplex mode.2. The IAD saves the configuration. Ifyou enable full duplex Ethernet in the IAD when the switch isoperating in normal half duplex mode, your IAD will notcommunicate on the LAN.
