Basic Programming 5 - 72: DC Injection to Stop: When the run command is removed, the Drive will Baseblock (turn off all output transistors) for theMinimum Baseblock Time (L2-03). Once the Minimum Baseblock Time has expired, the Drive willinject DC current into the motor windings to try and lock the motor shaft. The stopping time will bereduced as compared to Coast to Stop. The level of DC Injection current is set by parameter b2-02.The DC Injection brake time is determined by the set value in b2-04 and the output frequency at thetime the run command is removed.Fig 5.5 DC Injection Braking to Stop3: Coast to Stop with Timer: When the run command is removed, the Drive will turn off its output transistors and the motorwill coast to a stop. If a run command is input before the timer expires, the Drive will not run andthe run command will be ignored. The timer value is determined by the active deceleration timeand the output frequency when the run command is removed.Fig 5.6 Coast to Stop with TimerIMPORTANT If an overcurrent (OC) fault occurs during DC Injection Braking to Stop, lengthen the Minimum BaseblockTime (L2-03) until the fault no longer occurs.04)-(E1FrequencyMaximumFrequencyOutput1004)-(b2TimeBrakeInjectionDC ××=ONOFFRun CommandOutput FrequencyDC Injection BrakingDC Injection Braking TimeMinimum BaseblockTime (L2-03)100 %0 %DC InjectionBrake Timeb2-04 x 10b2-0410% 100% (MaximumOutput Frequency)Output Frequency at Stop Command InputRun CommandOutput FrequencyOFFONTimer Value100 %0 %DecelerationTimeMinimumBaseblockTime (L2-03)MinimumOutputFrequency100% (MaximumOutput Frequency)Output Frequency at Stop Command InputTimer Value
