Diagnostics & Troubleshooting 6 - 10Alarm DetectionAlarms are Drive protection functions that do not operate the fault contact. The Drive will automatically return to its originalstatus once the cause of the alarm has been removed.During an alarm condition, the Digital Operator display flashes and an alarm output is generated at the multi-function outputs(H2-01 to H2-03) if programmed. When an alarm occurs, take appropriate corrective action according to the table below.Table 6.2 Alarm Displays and ProcessingDigitalOperator Display Description Cause Corrective ActionAErSI-T Address Err<3021>SI-T Station Number Setting ErrorStation number of SI-T option board wasoutside the setting range.Station number setting error Check the station number setting.Refer to SI-T manual for details.Circuit of SI-T option board isfaulty.Check the communicationsdevices and signals.Refer to SI-T manual for details.BUSOption Com Err(Flashing)Option Communication ErrorAfter initial communication isestablished, the connection was lost.Connection is broken, mastercontroller has stoppedcommunicating.Check all connections, verify alluser side software configurations.CALLSI-F/G ComCall(Flashing)Serial communication transmissionerror. Communication has not yet beenestablished.Connection was not madeproperly, or user software wasnot configured to the properbaud rate or configuration.Check all connections, verify alluser side software configurations.CEMEMOBUS Com Err(Flashing)Modbus Communications ErrorEnabled when H5-05 = 1 and H5-04 = 3.Normal communication was notpossible for 2 seconds or longerafter control data was received.Check the communicationsdevices and signals.CyCSI-T Cycle Err<3021>SI-T Communications Cycle SettingErrorCommunications cycle of SI-T option boardwas out of range.Communications cycle of SI-Toption board set in the mastercontroller was out of range.Check the communication cycleof SI-T option board set in mastercontroller.Refer to SI-T manual for details.DEVSpeed Deviation(Flashing)Excessive Speed DeviationDetected when F1-04 = 3 and A1-02 = 1 or 3.The speed deviation is greater than thesetting in F1-10 for longer than the settingin F1-11.The load was locked. Reduce the load. The acceleration time anddeceleration times were tooshort.Lengthen the acceleration anddeceleration times. The load was too large. Check the mechanical system. The settings in F1-10 and F1-11were not appropriate.Check the settings in F1-10 andF1-11.DNEDrive not Enable(Flashing)Detected when a multi-function digitalinput (H1-01 to H1-06) is programmed for6A: Drive enable. The Drive does not have the enablecommand when the run command isapplied. This alarm stops the motor.Enable command was lost whileDrive was running.Check the input terminalprogrammed for enablecommand. The Run command was appliedprior to the enable signal.Apply and maintain the enablecommand before applying the runcommand.EFExternal FaultBoth the forward and the reverse runcommands are input simultaneously for500ms or more. This alarm stops the motor. An external forward andreverse command were inputsimultaneously.Check external sequence logic,so only one input is received at atime.
