On the main controller PCB, there are two PDRM-EF-A PCBs: the upper (connected at J1051) is for processing magenta and cyan images, and the lower(connected at J1008) is for yellow and black images. Interchange these PCBs and check to see if the trouble color changes (for example, from magenta orcyan to yellow or black).2. If the trouble color changes, the PCB for the original trouble color is faulty. But before replacing this PCB, clean its terminal with lint-free paper moistenedwith alcohol. Depending on the way of connecting the PCB, poor contact may not be solved. When connecting it, refer to the attached "E747/748: How toModify Connection of the Sub PCBs to the Controller Box."3.
