Connection to other devices11.1 Functions offlinemakes it possible to control the device with software buttons like the ones thatwould be found on the physical device.l Device informationYou must be in the Configuration tab, seeing the devices.Select the device you want (click on one of the devices displayed)The corresponding device information will be displayed in real time. Depending onthe specific tab you select, you will be able to view current real-time informationsuch as:l Device informationl Diagnostic alarmsl Diagnostic buffer (what was stored during the current online easySoft sessionin terms of diagnostic messages)l HW (device hardware information)l Device features (operands, function blocks)l I Digital input (digital input states)l Q Digital output (digital output states)l IA Analog input (analog input states)l QA Analog output (analog output states)l M Marker (marker bit states)l MB Byte marker (marker byte states)l MW Word marker (marker word states)l MD Double word marker (marker double word states)l ↔ Assigned operands (if there is a program on the device; which operands havebeen mapped to the various devices' inputs/outputs)l Operand window + oscilloscope (same as described for the Simulation view, butonline with the connected device)Status displayThere are various functions available for the status display.11.1.2 Status display onThe base device must be connected to easySoft ONLINE and be in RUN mode.Either click on the Status display on option in the Communication menu or click onthe Status Display On button in the toolbar.The program's first network will be displayed.
