Configuring WSS System Parameters 209Nortel WLAN—Management Software 2300 Series Reference GuideThe configured ACLs and their mappings appear in the Content panel.Creating an ACLThe Create ACL wizard enables you to configure ACEs with the following parameters:• Match criteria:• Source IP address• Destination IP address• Protocol• Source protocol port• Destination protocol port• Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) value or Type Of Service (TOS) and IP precedencevalues• Action: deny or permit• Marking: Class of Service (CoS) valueThese parameters are sufficient for most ACEs. To configure additional parameters, use the wizard to configure thebasic parameters, then select the ACE and click Properties. (See “Configuring Advanced ACL Settings” (page 212).)To configure an ACL1 Access the Create ACL wizard:a Select the Configuration tool bar option.b In the Organizer panel, click the plus sign next to the WSS.c Click the plus sign next to System.d Select ACLs.e In the Task List panel, select ACL.2 In the ACL Name box, type the name for the ACL (1 to 32 alphanumeric characters, with no spaces ortabs). The name can include hyphens (-), underscores (_), or periods (.). ACL names are case-sensitiveand must begin with a letter. Do not include any of the following terms in the name: all, default-action,map, help, editbuffer.3 Click Add Rule. A new ACE (ACL rule) appears above the implicit deny all rule that is at the end ofevery ACL.Note. The ACL table might contain an ACL named portalacl. This ACL is createdautomatically if you enable Web Portal be changing the fallthru authentication type on aservice profile or wired authentication port to Web Portal.
