The WLAN Management Software ends theconnection.Verifying that the WLAN Management Software Client is ReceivingService DataIf you are using a network plan that already contains equipment, use the following procedure to verify that theWLAN Management Software client is receiving data for the equipment.1 Select the network plan name in the Organizer panel.2 Select the Monitor tool bar option. The monitor dashboard appears.3 Wait 60 seconds for WLAN Management Software to retrieve updates from the server.4 Click Details under Status Summary.5 Check the status colors of Nortel equipment:• Green—Up• Yellow—Up (but with minor service degradation)• Orange—Up (but with major service degradation)• Red—Down• Blue—Unknown (WLAN Management Software is not receiving status data from theserver yet.)1 Select an object in the Organizer panel, then right-click and select Monitor. The Monitor tabappears in the Content panel.2 Wait 60 seconds for WLAN Management Software to retrieve updates from the server, thencheck the color of the objects for Nortel equipment displayed in the Explore window.Note. When you use this option, the Certificate Check dialog box is not shownagain for the certificate, even if the certificate becomes out of date.Note. The Certificate Check dialog box is redisplayed each time the WLANManagement Software client attempts to establish a connection with WLANManagement Software Services.
