418 Monitoring the NetworkNN47250-102 (320666-G Version 02.01)To find an AP on the floor1 Click on the Monitor option in the main WMS tool bar.2 Expand the Site list tree in the Organizer panel and select the access point you want to view.3 WMS automatically opens the Floor View panel, displaying a floor map with the selected access pointhighlighted.4 Select a statistic from the Task panel to generate a topographical visualization of that data. (If you choosethe RF Interference, High Utilization, or Coverage Hole options and re-transmit rates within the depictedarea do not exceed 10% of total network bytes, WMS displays a message dialog instead of generating avisualization.)On-Demand Statistics MonitoringEach of the Monitor dashboard views offers a way to see on-demand statistics. For example, selecting a session from theClient Monitor panel launches the current statistics for that session.Viewing Performance DataWLAN Management Software opens a separate window for the statistics panel, and you can open multiple statisticspanels. You can keep the windows separate, or group multiple statistic windows together by dragging them across thewindows.Creating and Viewing ReportsWLAN Management Software provides the following client, alarm, and traffic reports:• Client Monitoring Reports• Client Summary• Client Details• Client Errors• Traffic Reports• Traffic• Alarm Reports• Alarm Summary• Alarm History• Security• Client OUIFor each report, choose the report scope type, report scope instance, the output directory (where you would like WLANManagement Software to save the report), and whether or not to overwrite any existing reports. Click Generate to createa report.
