The network plan is deleted.Sharing a Network PlanSince the WLAN Management Software plan repository resides on a networked server (the host running WLANManagement Software Services), you can easily share access to network plans among hosts running the WLANManagement Software client. When you make changes to a network plan, WLAN Management Software locks the part of the plan you are modifying.Other WLAN Management Software clients can still open the network plan, but the lock prevents the other clients frommodifying the part of the plan you are already modifying. The lock remains in effect until your modification is saved.WLAN Management Software then removes the lock. When a user with an administrator or provision account tries to access a part of a plan that is already locked by anotheruser, WLAN Management Software displays the Lock Info page. The Lock Info page indicates who has locked thenetwork plan. You can optionally override the user’s lock. Note that only a user with Administrator privileges canoverride another user’s lock.To override another user’s lock1 Select Services > Lock Management to access the WLAN Management Software Lock Informationpage.A list of objects that have been locked appears.2 Select the object whose lock you want to delete and click Delete. (Only an Administrator can delete alock.)3 A message is displayed indicating that the user whose lock you selected will not be able to save theirchanges when you delete their lock. Click Yes to confirm that you want to do this.If you override the lock, WLAN Management Software unlocks the part of the plan that was locked, and notifies theother WLAN Management Software users about the lock change. From this point on, the former lock holder cannot savechanges to the previously locked portion of the plan.By default, WLAN Management Software sends a message to all users who have the plan open with monitor access toinform them when changes are saved to the plan. In addition, WLAN Management Software sends a message to eachmonitor user, so that one of them can then edit the plan.
