If you want WLAN Management Software to stopalerting you about a specific error or warning, you can disable the rule for that error or warning.You can disable rules on a per-instance basis or globally for all instances.• If you disable a rule for a specific instance, WLAN Management Software stops alerting you about that particularinstance but still uses the rule when evaluating other configuration items.• If you disable a rule for all instances, WLAN Management Software stops using that rule altogether when verifyinga configuration.To disable a specific instance of a warning or error1 Select the warning or error message.2 In the Resolutions section, click Disable this rule for this instance only.As soon as you click on this option, the message disappears from the list. WLAN Management Softwarewill not display this particular instance of the message again.To globally disable a warning or error1 Select an instance of the warning or error message.2 In the Resolutions section, click Disable this rule for all instances.As soon as you click on this option, all instances of the message disappear from the list. WLANManagement Software will not display the message again.Changing Verification OptionsBy default, WLAN Management Software verifies configuration information in the following cases:• When the switch’s configuration is changed in WLAN Management Software.• When you deploy or export a switch from WLAN Management Software to the network.• When you upload a switch from the network into WLAN Management Software.WLAN Management Software verifies the switch’s entire configuration by default each time a change occurs.In addition, WLAN Management Software allows you to deploy or export configuration changes that cause errormessages by default.Note. Rules that are disabled for all instances are disabled on a per-user basis, not a per-planbasis. When you disable all instances of a rule, the rule is disabled for any network plan that youopen while you are logged on with the WLAN Management Software client user name you werelogged on with when you disabled the rule.
