To access this dialog, select Tools > WMS Services Backup/Restore from the menu bar in the main WLAN Management Software window.The backups that already exist for the network plan are listed. Backups that are automatically created by WLANManagement Software do not have names, and their type is Automatic. Backups that you create do have names, and theirtype is Manual. Only the backups for the currently open plan are listed.By default, backups created automatically by WLAN Management Software are stored in the following location:WMS\backup\auto\plan_nameBackups created by you are stored in the following location by default:WMS\backup\manual\plan_nameWMS zips the backup files and assigns them unique names. You can assign a name to a backup that you create.However, this name does not appear in the backup directory. To select a plan based on the name you assign, use theBackup/Restore dialog.Backing Up a PlanTo immediately create a backup1 Access the Backup/Restore dialog.1 Select Services > Backup & Restore.If WMS Services is already open in the browser window, select Plan Management, then select Backup &Restore.2 Click Create Backup. The Backup Name dialog appears.3 Type a name for the backup in the Backup Name box.4 Type a name for the backup and click OK.The status is displayed in the Status window. When the backup is complete, it appears in the list ofbackups. (If you do not see the backup, scroll to the bottom of the list.)5 Click Create Backup.When the backup is complete, it appears in the list of backups.
