The range is 0 to 5.The command no telnet maxsessions sets the maximum number of Telnet connection sessions thatcan be established to the default value.Default 5Mode Global ConfigCommandHistoryip telnet timeoutThis command sets the Telnet connection session timeout value, in minutes. A session is active as longas the session has been idle for the value set.Syntax ip telnet timeout 1-160ip address (routed) Configures an IP address on a routed interface.show interface Displays a summary of statistics for a specific port, includingthe management port, or a count of all CPU traffic based uponthe argument.Version 2.3 Changed from telnetcon maxsessions and moved from Privileged Exec mode toGlobal Config.Note: Changing the timeout value for active sessions does not become effective until thesession is reaccessed. Any keystroke will also activate the new timeout duration.
