Configuring Node-Wide Default Parameters 4-3Database and System Memory ValuesTwo sets of values exist for Node Defaults parameters: Database values exist in thesoftware, and are recorded as System Memory values when the node is booted. If theport type is the same in both sets of values, both sets will be displayed.Any change you make will be recorded as a Database value, and will be copied to theSystem Memory side only if you press [F7]. Note that changes will not be actually besaved to the database until you press [F3] to exit the record.Node Defaults ParametersAll possible parameters on the first two Node Defaults screens are listed in Table 4-1,and the NetView parameters on the third screen are listed in Table 4-2 (on page 4-7).Depending on the values configured for some parameters, other parameters might notbe displayed.Descriptions of most parameters follow each table.1 Remember that the software sees uppercase as different from lowercase.Table 4-1 Node Defaults ParametersParameter Valid Values Default ValueNode Name up to 8 characters noneRemote Control ID 0–15 digits noneRemote Control Pwd 0–15 characters 1 remoteFile Tr ansfer ID 0–15 digits noneFile Tr ansfer Pwd 0–15 characters 1 ftranCollecting Node ID 0–15 digits noneCollecting Node Pwd 0–15 characters 1 alarmsPrimary Alarm Output ID see footnote 2 nonePrimary Alarm Output Pwd 0–15 characters 1 alarmsSecondary Alarm Output ID see footnote 2 noneSecondary Alarm Output Pwd 0–15 characters 1 alarmsCom.
