Detectors/Devices MenuPage 30During setting, a brief message is displayed to inform the user that one or morezones are in soak test.Note: If there is an output configured as type Zone Follow for a zone under SoakTest, the control unit will continue to operate the output if the soak test zone istriggered. The output will operate whether the zone is set or unset.Double KnockZones programmed with this attribute will cause an alarm only if the zone is EITHERtriggered, restored and triggered again within a five-minute period, or if the zoneremains active for 10 seconds.Note: Double Knock does not comply with EN50131.ResetEnable this attribute if you have connected a latching type of shock or vibrationsensor to a zone. You will also need to program an output of type Shock SensorReset. The control unit ignores the zone during setting while the Shock Sensor Reset outputis active, and for an extra three seconds after the output restores.Note: It is recommended that you set the exit time to a value not less than 10seconds to allow detectors to reset correctly and avoid the possibility that the controlunit will isolate a zone that has not reset. If the exit time is less than 10 seconds and the detector does not successfully reset(it remains in an active state), the control unit will not add the detector back to thesystem until detector becomes inactive. This is to prevent false alarms.Part Set BWhen a user sets part set B, the control unit sets only those zones where the PartSet B attribute = “Yes”. (See also “Exit Mode” on page 44.)Part Set CWhen a user sets part set C, the control unit sets only those zones where Part Set Cattribute = “Yes”.Part Set DWhen a user sets part set D, the control unit sets only those zones where Part Set Dattribute = “Yes”.OmittableWhen a zone has this attribute, a user can omit it before setting the system. If a user tries to set the system when a zone with this attribute is open (active) thecontrol unit alerts them and pauses the setting procedure. The user can acknowledgethe alert by pressing and continue setting, providing the feature is enabled inSystem Options – User Options – User Access – Quick Omit (see page 48).Note: Take care when assigning Omittable to an Entry Route zone when Quick Omitis enabled. There is a risk that the user may omit the Entry Route zone in error.Force Set OmitIf this attribute is set to On, a zone of type Key Switch Momentary or Key SwitchLatched can force set the system while the zone is active, providing the zone has theForce Set attribute set to On.When a force set occurs, the system omits the active zone that is attempting to set,and sets the remaining zones normally.
