Selecting Normal causes the output to be +12V when inactive, and at 0Vwhen active. Selecting Inverted causes the output to be 0V when inactive, and at +12Vwhen active.Note that any change in the polarity of an output does not take effect until you leave theInstaller menu.LatchedUsed for the User Defined output type - see page 41.PulsedThis option is available for some output types. Selecting Yes causes the output, whenactivated, to give a single pulse of a specified length after a specified delay. See Delayand On Time below. If Pulsed is set to No, the output changes state when the zonechanges state.Note: This option is not available for output types that already have built-in pulsebehaviour, including PIR Set Latch, Shock/Smoke Sensor Reset, Setting/Unset Complete,User-Defined and Courtesy Light.DelayThis is available when Pulsed is set to Yes. The delay can take any value from 0 to 999seconds. If set to 0, the output operates immediately. When set to any other value, theoutput waits for the specified number of seconds before becoming active. On TimeUsed for the User Defined output type - see page 41 and when Pulsed is set to Yes. OnTime can take any value from 1 to 999 seconds. The output is active for the specifiednumber of seconds. (A value of 0 seconds is not allowed.)ZonesThis option is available for Zone Follow and Zone Alarm output types. Select the zonesthat apply.Plug-By OutputsThe plug-by outputs are designed for use by a standalone communicator to send alarminformation to an ARC. You can edit each output's settings in the same way as for wiredoutputs (see page 38). See page 70 for a list of the default output types assigned to theplug-by outputs.Note: To make the plug-by outputs operate, you must select an alarm response thatincludes communications (see from page 46).See page 50 for details of the Remote Reset input of the plug-by communicator port.
