Page 44Chapter 6: Setting Options MenuThe Setting Options menu contains all the options to program entry, exit and alarmresponse. You can configure different settings for the full-set level and each part-set B/C/Dlevel.Note: The default settings for these options are compliant with EN50131. Changes tosome of the defaults may render the system non-compliant.Full Set and Part Set optionsNameUse this option to name the full set or part set. The full-set name is displayed only in SecureConect when full-setting. Part Set B/C/D names are displayed in the setting procedure (when selecting a partset to set), and while the system is counting down during a timed set.Exit ModeTimed SetUse this setting to make the system set after a delay. Use Exit Time (see page 46) tospecify the delay. The control unit logs the start of timed exit.Note: This option does not comply with BS8243:2010.Final Door SetUse this setting to complete the setting of the system by closing a door fitted with aFinal Exit zone detector. Once the door closes, the system sets after the Settle Timeexpires. Note that the exit time does not expire in this option.The control unit logs the start of final door exit.Note: To enable part setting, include a zone of type Final Exit as one of the part-setzones. Also select Final Exit in Pt.set Final Exit (see page 46).Instant SetThe system sets immediately and without any setting tone. Keypads andloudspeakers (if used), give a confirmation tone when the system is set or unset.Keypads and loudspeakers give the entry tone.Note: This option does not comply with BS8243:2010.Silent SetThe system sets after the time programmed in the Entry/Exit Time menu but does notgive any exit or setting tones over keypads or any loudspeaker.Keypads and loudspeakers give the entry tone.When the system unsets, keypads (but not loudspeakers) give a double-beepconfirmation tone.Note: This option does not comply with BS8243:2010.
