Page 64Chapter 10: View Log MenuThe control unit keeps a log of events (for example, alarms and times of setting/unsetting).An installer or master user can read the log when the system is completely unset. Notethat no other user type can read the log.Log EventsTo comply with EN50131-1:2006 for grade 2 systems, the log is divided internally into twoportions: mandatory events and non-mandatory events. The installer can view either ofthese lists separately, or see all log events in one list. Additionally, the EN 50136 Logstores SPT events to comply with this standard. Please refer to Appendix C on page 66 fora description of each log message.Mandatory events are those that are recorded to comply with EN 50131. Non-mandatoryevents are other events not needed to comply with EN 50131.The entire log stores its records for at least 10 years without power.The first three events of the same type (e.g. tamper alarms) that occur in the same unsetor set period are logged in the mandatory log. Any further events of that type are logged inthe non-mandatory log.When you are viewing a log event, pressing may display additional information.
