Changes tosome of the defaults may render the system non-compliant.User OptionsUser AccessUse this option to give users access to various system facilities.HUA Keys ActiveThis option allows users to start an HUA alarm from keypads by pressing both HoldUp Alarm keys at the same time.Select Yes to make the HUA keys functional. Select No to disable the keys.HUAs have an alarm sound that is distinct from other alarm types.Note: An HUA confirmed alarm can be generated by settng System Options –Confirmation – Confirmation Mode to BS8243. Please refer to page 53 for detailsabout how an HUA confirmed alarm can be generated.Quick SetNote: If you enable quick set, the control unit no longer complies with EN50131.This option controls the operation of the A, B, C or D keys.Yes – Allows users to set the alarm system by pressing A, B, C or D without enteringan access code.No – Users must enter an access code (or present a tag) before pressing the A, B, Cor D key.Quick OmitYes – Allows users to omit a zone that is active while the user is setting the system.The zone must have the Omittable attribute (see page 29).No – Users must use the Omit menu to omit a zone that is active before they can setthe system.User Code ReqdYes – After entering the installer code, the system prompts for a user code beforeallowing access to the Installer menu.No – You can access the Installer menu simply by keying in the installer code.Note: If you select this value, the control unit no longer complies with EN50131. Thisvalue complies with PD6662 only if the user has given written consent.Duress EnableSelecting Yes allows master users to assign the Duress user type to users.A duress code can set and unset the system in the same way as a normal user.However, each time the code is used, the control unit triggers any output configuredas type Duress, and (if applicable) communicates Duress and Set/Unset events.
