Detectors/Devices MenuPage 31InvertedOn FSL zones, the attribute makes the control unit treat resistances in the 6k9 bandas “tamper”, and resistances below the 2k2 band as “alarm”. In 4-wire CC zones theattribute makes the control unit treat open alarm contacts as “no alarm” and closedalarm contacts as “alarm”. (Tamper contacts are not affected by the Invert attribute.)You can apply this attribute to any zone type except Tamper Return and Not Used.Linked ZoneIf a zone activates that has this attribute, a second zone with this attribute must alsoactivate within the Linked Zone Time (see page 58) for an alarm to trigger. This attribute is normally used only for an area protected by an array of infra-redbeams, with each beam connected to a separate zone.Extended Entry TimeThis attribute is only for Final Exit zone types. If enabled and the zone is triggered tostart the entry procedure, the system uses the Extended Entry Time setting (page46). If disabled, the system uses the standard Entry Time setting (page 46).This attribute allows for cases where you need to allow an increased length of timefor the entry procedure for certain zones. For example, you may want to allow 40seconds for a front door, and 90 seconds for a garage entrance.Double DoorsThis attribute is available only if the zone is configured to use the 2k2/4k7 FSL wiringmethod (see page 57). Setting this attribute allows the zone to monitor two doorcontacts in series, providing each detector has a 4k7 shunt resistor and there is a2k2 end-of-line resistor. Please refer to page 14 for wiring details. To enhance system security, it is not recommended to use this attribute if only onedetector is connected to the zone.Force SetThis attribute is for zones of type Key Switch Momentary and Key Switch Latchedonly. You may wish to allow the key switch to set the alarm system even if one or morezones are active or have faulty detectors. This is known as a "force set". Thedetectors that are active or are faulty must have the Force Set Omit attribute set toYes. When a force set occurs, the system omits the active or faulty zones and setsthe remaining zones normally.Note: If you enable Force Set, the system does not comply with EN50131.Off – The key switch cannot force set the system, even if you have applied the ForceSet Omit attribute to any zones. On – The key switch can force set the system.Address Bus DeviceYou can use this option to: Add new keypads to the system once they are physically wired to the bus. Thecontrol unit assigns a bus address to each keypad you add. (You can perform thesame action using Detectors/Devices – Wired Keypads – Address Bus Device.) Re-scan the bus for any found or missing keypads.Note: If you need to replace or remove a keypad, please use Delete Keypad (page 35) orReplace Keypad (page 35).
