Replace the PTT motor base ifout of specification.NOTE:The brush holder and circuit breaker cannotbe removed from the PTT motor base; ifeither part is damaged, replace the PTTmotor base.2. Measure the length of each brush.Replace the brushes if below specifica-tion.Assembling the PTT motorCAUTION:• Do not reuse the oil seal and O-rings,always replace them with new ones.• Do not allow grease or oil to contact thecommutator of the armature.1. Install a new oil seal into the PTT motorbase as shown.2.
