A switch in VM mode cannot join the switch stack as a fully functioning member. If the switchstack has an image that can be copied to a switch in VM mode, the auto-upgrade process automaticallycopies the image from a stack member to the switch in VM mode. The switch then exits VM mode, reboots, and joins the switch stack as a fully functioning member. The auto-upgrade process affects only switches in VM mode. It does not affect existing stack members.Release Modification12.2(40)EX1 This command was introduced.
