The configuration data in the transceiver cannot be read unless the correctPassword is entered.Read Authorization Password can be configured for the transceiver using KPG-D1/ D1N. Read AuthorizationPassword can be configured using any numbers between 0 and 999999 inclusive.NoteIf the password authentication fails consecutively for the number of times configured in Password Entry Limit, thetransceiver enters Transceiver Lockout Mode, and then “LOCKOUT” appears on the display. In Transceiver LockoutMode, the transceiver cannot be operated. Writing configuration data to the transceiver by using KPG-D1/ D1N, thetransceiver exits Transceiver Lockout Mode. Also, a failure in Overwrite Password authentication counts as a failure in the password authentication. The number offailures in the password authentication is cleared by one of the following conditions:0 When the transceiver is turned OFF and then turned ON again0 When the correct password is entered0 When configuration data is written to the transceiver by using KPG-D1/ D1NConfiguration using KPG-D1/ D1N0 Configuring Read Authorization Password ( Transceiver Settings > Optional Features > Optional Features 1 >Data Password > Read Authorization Password)0 Configuring Password Entry Limit ( Transceiver Settings > Optional Features > Optional Features 1 > DataPassword)13 TRANSCEIVER DATA PROTECTION WITH PASSWORD13.1 Password for Transceiver Operation (Transceiver Password)Common FUNC (K, F)/Ver 2.20 235CONTENTS INDEX
