Configuring Mobile Relay StationPreparation in advanceThe configuration conditions of the Mobile Relay Station function are as follows:Firmware version of the transceiver:Firmware version 2.00.00 or laterFPU:KPG-D1/ D1N V2.00 or laterStructure of transceivers:Triple RF Deck or Dual RF Deck structureCautionDo not connect a D-sub 25-pin cable to the transceiver while the FPU data for Mobile Relay Station is not writtenin the transceiver. A D-sub 25-pin cable may malfunction if the D-sub 25-pin cable is connected to the transceiverin this state.FPU configurationVarious functions of Mobile Relay Station are configured, and the configuration data is written to the transceiver by usingKPG-D1/ D1N.1 Configure “Mobile Relay Station” to a PF key or AUX Input port.NoteWhen “Mobile Relay Station” is configured for the AUX Input port, configure for only RF Deck Data of 1 unit. If“Mobile Relay Station” is configured for the AUX Input ports of RF Deck Data of 2 units, the behavior becomesincorrect.2 Configure the channel that behaves as a Mobile Relay Channel in Mobile Relay Channel List. The channel for which the values in System Type, Channel Type, and Channel Spacing are the same as the otherchannel needs to be configured as the Mobile Relay Channel. Also, configure both No.1 and No.2 RF Deck Data.Figure 16-83 Mobile Relay Channel ListNote0 Mobile Relay Station DB-25 Cable can be configured when No.1 and No.2 RF Deck Data are both configured.0 In a Triple RF Deck structure, RF Deck Data of 2 random units can be selected and configured as Mobile RelayChannels.0 If a Mobile Relay Channel is not configured, the transceiver cannot enter Mobile Relay Station Mode.16 MULTI RF DECK/ MULTI CONTROL HEAD16.18 Relaying the Received Signal (Mobile Relay Station)Common FUNC (K, F)/Ver 2.20 325CONTENTS INDEX
