Repeat the measurement 3 times at differ-ent part, and calculate the average of theread values.Adjusting the drive belt tensionWARNINGEWA13120Securely support the vehicle so that there isno danger of it falling over.1. Loosen the wheel axle nut and both left andright locknuts “1”.2. Turn both left and right adjusting bolts “1”equivalently and adjust until proper drive belttension within specified value is obtained.3. Check the difference in the distance “a” be-tween the left and right sides should be 0.8mm (0.03 in) or less.4. Tighten the wheel axle nut to specification.5. Tighten the locknuts to specification.6. Check the difference in the distance “c” be-tween the left and right sides is within 0.8 mm(0.03 in).7. Use the tension meter and measure the drivebelt tension again.8.
