Clean:• Centerstand• Centerstand bracket• Centerstand bolt• Centerstand nutNOTICEECA27050Before installing the centerstand, remove allthe grease from the all parts.2. Install:• Centerstand “1”• Centerstand bracket “2”• Centerstand bolt “3”• Centerstand nut “4”TIPTemporarily attach the centerstand to the cen-terstand bracket.3. Lubricate:• Centerstand bolt “3”NOTICEECA27060Do not apply grease to the surfaces of theseat or the threads of the centerstand bolt.TIPApply grease to the shaft of the centerstand bolt.4. Tighten:• Centerstand nut5. Lubricate:• Centerstand “1”• Centerstand bracket “2”TIP• Apply grease to the sliding surfaces of the cen-terstand and centerstand bracket.• After applying grease while the centerstand isextended, apply grease while the centerstandis retracted.• Apply the grease so it is pressed in betweenthe centerstand and the centerstand bracket.• Operate the centerstand several times so thegrease is worked in evenly.Recommended lubricantLithium–soap–based greaseLS244331aaa.
