Connection of ECU coupler, handlebar switch coupler (left) and handlebar switch coupler (right).• Check the locking condition of the coupler.• Disconnect the coupler and check the pins (bent or broken terminals and locking condition of thepins).2. Locate the malfunction.a. Execute the diagnostic mode. (Code 80)TIPPerform the procedure from step 3 to step 5, and from step 9 to step 10.b. Execute the diagnostic mode. (Code 81)c. Confirm that it is defective.d. Go to step 6.Is the coupler condition normal?YESGo to step 2.NOa. Connect the coupler securely or replace the wire harness.b. Push the ON/start switch, and then push the “RES+” side and “SET–”side of the cruise controlsetting switch.c.
