MANAGING PRINT JOBS FROM THE CONTROL PANEL- 76 -2134567Invalid jobsAn Invalid job refers to a job being held due to an incorrect orno department code being entered for performing the job. If theequipment is managed by the Department Managementfeature with the SNMP network services disabled, entering anincorrect department code for printing from a computer on thenetwork causes the job to be held as an invalid job and storedin the Invalid job queue. To release the job from the queue,enter the correct department code on the [JOBS] tab listing theInvalid jobs.Note• A print job whose number of copies to print exceeds the limitspecified for a particular department code cannot be printedout. In this case, ask the administrator for help. Displaying the Invalid job listFollow the procedure below to display the list of Invalid jobs.Displaying the Invalid job list1 On the control panel, press the [PRINT]button.2 Enter the correct department code with theon-screen keyboard and digital keys, andthen press [OK].3 Select [INVALID].The Invalid jobs are listed on the screen. Printing Invalid jobsIf you have entered an incorrect department code for printing,you need to re-enter the correct one.
