The system is ready foropera tion when the control ind icator goesoff.If the control indicator does not g o outafter a few seconds, or if it lights up duringdriving, there is a fault in the ABS. Thebrake system remains operational withoutABS regulation.You can continue driving, prov ided youdrive with care a nd antic ipation.Hav e c ause of fault remedied. Werecommend that you consult a VauxhallAuthorised Repa irer. The sy stem’sintegrated self-diagnostics allows faults tobe quickly remedied .If there is a fault in the ABS , the rearwheels may tend to lock in the event ofvery heavy braking. This may cause thevehicle to swerv e. The benefits of theABS are lost.
