59Luggage compartmentTo unlock:Push button r on remote c ontrol– or –Press button q on rem ote control twice– or –Turn key forward twice in d riv er’s d oor loc k,turn to vertical position and remove– or –Press button x in driver’s door orpassenger door 3.The lug gage compartment is unlocked andcan be opened by pressing the buttonwithin 5 minutes.An op en luggage compartment isindica ted b y the illumination of s in thetachom eter dial display.If the lug gage c om partment is not openedwithin 5 minutes, it is automatically lockedagain.If the luggage comp artm ent is unlock edthe number plate la mps come on andilluminate the area behind the vehicle.If luggage compartment ha s b eenunlocked and opened, it is autom aticallylock ed again 5 minutes after closing.The luggage compartment isautom atic ally locked when the speedreaches 2 mp h (4 k m/h).There is a handle on the inside of theluggage compa rtm ent lid or tailgate forclosing the luggage compa rtm ent.
