297Chapter 13 Using a Compact Flash Memory Card13.2 Inserting/removing a Compact Flash Memory Card13.2.1 Inserting a Compact Flash Memory CardA FAT16 (FAT) formatted Compact Flash memory card with up to 512 MB storage capacity can be used for thePV310. Insert the Compact Flash memory card facing toward the terminal block into the slot for a Compact Flashmemory card. When the Compact Flash memory card is properly inserted into a slot, the ejection button locatedabove the slot will come out.13.2.2 Removing a Compact Flash Memory CardWhen removing a Compact Flash memory card while the PV310 is turned on, follow the steps below.1. Select "CARD" from the menu bar in SETUP mode.The CARD menu is displayed.2. Select "Eject".The dialog message box appears saying "Eject the CF card?"3. Choose "YES".After the following message appears and press the ENTER key. "Now safe to eject."4. Press the ejection button located above the slot.Eject the Compact Flash memory card by pressing the ejection button.• Compact Flash memory card is displayed as "CARD" in the menu bar.• Do not confuse the orientation of Compact Flash memory card. Otherwise, the Compact Flash memorycard or PV310 may be damaged.• Compact Flash is a trademark of SanDisk Corporation in the United States.
