9W006 and 9W007 245SYSTEM S TATISTICSDigital Modem StatisticsD IGITAL M ODEM STATISTICSIf you are using a Digital Modem, you can access the following statistics by using themodemstats command:pkts rcvdTotal number of packets received over the modem connection.pkts xmitTotal number of packets transmitted over the modem connection.fcs errorsTotal number of HDLC frames discarded because of Frame Checksum (FCS) errors.LAN S TATISTICSYou can access LAN statistics by issuing thelan stats console command.pkts rcvdThe total number of packets received on the LAN port.rcv overrunsThe number of frames known to be lost because the local system bus was not available. If the trafficproblem persists for more than one frame, the frames that follow the first are also lost; however,because there is no lost frame indicator they are not counted.crc errorsThe number of aligned frames discarded because of a CRC error.align errorsThe number of frames that are both misaligned and contain a CRC error.resource errorsThe number of good frames discarded because there were no resources available.pkts xmitThe number of packets transmitted on the LAN port.xmit errorsThe number of packets transmitted with errors on the LAN port.IP S TATISTICSYou can access IP statistics by using theip stats console command. These statistics are parts ofthe IP Group and the ICMP Group MIB variables that are defined in RFC-1213:MIB-II.
