OPERATIONQuick start LSM 5104-8 B 40-051 e 07/984.3.2 Creating a data base for image storage(1) Click on the button from LSM 510 tool bar.(2) Click on the button.This will allow you to create a new data base to store your images, experimental setup andcomments from your confocal session. If you have previously created a data base, click on the button instead of button.(3) Type in a data base name in the File name field.The name can consist of as many characters as you like. Before clicking the create button in the"Create New Database" window, set the location in which the data base will be created byselecting the drive in the Create in field, and double-click on the required folder icon from the listdisplayed.(4) Click on the button. All images which are saved during your confocal session will beautomatically saved in this data base.Fig. 4-6Fig. 4-7
