Shift Lights (ATS-V only)Some vehicle messages or alertsdisplayed in the HUD may be clearedby using the steering wheel controls.See Vehicle Messages 0 139.The HUD control is to the left of thesteering wheel.To adjust the HUD image:1. Adjust the driver seat to acomfortable position.2. Start the engine.3. Use the following settings toadjust the HUD.$ : Press down or lift up to centerthe HUD image. The HUD image canonly be adjusted up and down, notside to side.! : Press to select the display view.Each press will change thedisplay view.D : Lift up and hold to brighten thedisplay. Press down and hold to dimthe display. Hold down to turn thedisplay off.The HUD image will automaticallydim and brighten to compensate foroutside lighting. The HUD brightnesscontrol can also be adjusted asneeded.The HUD image can temporarily lightup depending on the angle andposition of sunlight on the HUDdisplay. This is normal.Polarized sunglasses could make theHUD image harder to see.Head-Up Display (HUD) RotationOptionThis feature allows for adjusting theangle of the HUD image.Press SEL on the steering wheelcontrols while Head-up DisplayRotation is highlighted to enter MainView. From Main View, press SEL toenter the Adjust Menu. Press y or zto adjust the angle of the HUDdisplay. Press S or T to highlight OK,then press SEL to save the setting.
