Thedriver or passenger side mirror mustbe selected.Auto Memory RecallThe vehicle identifies the number ofthe current driver’s RKE transmitter(1–8). See Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)System Operation 0 31. If the RKEtransmitter is 1 or 2, and AutoMemory Recall is programmed on invehicle personalization, the positionssaved to the same memory buttonnumber 1 or 2 are automaticallyrecalled when the ignition is turnedon, or turned from off to ACC/ACCESSORY. RKE transmitters 3–8will not provide automatic memoryrecalls.To turn Auto Memory Recall on or off,see "Vehicle Personalization Settings"previously in this section and VehiclePersonalization 0 140.If equipped with an automatictransmission, the transmission mustbe in P (Park) to initiate Auto MemoryRecall. Auto Memory Recall willcomplete if the vehicle is shifted outof P (Park) prior to reaching the storedmemory position.If equipped with a manualtransmission, the parking brake mustbe set to initiate Auto Memory Recall.Auto Memory Recall will complete ifthe parking brake is released prior toreaching the stored memory position.To stop Auto Memory Recallmovement, turn the ignition off orpress any of the following memorycontrols:. Power steering wheel, if equippedIf the stored memory seat positiondoes not automatically recall or recallsto the wrong positions, the driver’sRKE transmitter number (1 or 2) maynot match the memory buttonnumber that positions were saved to.Try storing the position to the othermemory button or try the other RKEtransmitter.Easy Exit RecallEasy Exit Recall is not linked to anRKE transmitter.
