Turn on and stay on when eithersystem is not working.If either system fails to turn on or toactivate, a message may display in theDriver Information Center (DIC), andd comes on and stays on to indicatethat the system is inactive and is notassisting the driver in maintainingcontrol. The vehicle is safe to drive,but driving should be adjustedaccordingly.If d comes on and stays on:1. Stop the vehicle.2. Turn the engine off and wait15 seconds.3. Start the engine.4. Drive the vehicle.If d comes on and stays on, thevehicle may need more time todiagnose the problem. If the conditionpersists, see your dealer.Turning the Systems Off and OnThe g button for TCS and StabiliTrakis on the center console (ATS) or thesteering wheel (ATS-V).CautionDo not repeatedly brake oraccelerate heavily when TCS is off.The vehicle driveline could bedamaged.To turn off only TCS, press andrelease g. The Traction Off light idisplays in the instrument cluster anda DIC message may display.To turn TCS on again, press andrelease g. The Traction Off light idisplayed in the instrument clusterwill turn off.If TCS is limiting wheel spin when gis pressed, the system will not turn offuntil the wheels stop spinning.To turn off both TCS and StabiliTrak,press and hold g until the TractionOff light i and StabiliTrak OFF lightg come on and stay on in theinstrument cluster. A DIC messagemay display.To turn TCS and StabiliTrak on again,press and release g.
