Use the brake to get to the desiredlower speed. Press SET– down andrelease the accelerator pedal. Thevehicle will now cruise at thelower speed.. Foreach press, the vehicle speeddecreases to the next 5 km/h(5 mph) mark on the speedometer.Selecting the Follow DistanceWhen a slower moving vehicle isdetected ahead within the selectedfollowing gap, ACC will adjust thevehicle's speed and attempt tomaintain the follow distance gapselected.Press [ on the steering wheel toadjust the following gap. Each presscycles the gap button through threesettings: Far, Medium, or Near.When pressed, the current gap settingdisplays briefly on the instrumentcluster and HUD. The gap setting willbe maintained until it is changed.Since each gap setting corresponds toa following time (Far, Medium,or Near), the following distance willvary based on vehicle speed. Thefaster the vehicle speed, the furtherback your vehicle will follow a vehicledetected ahead. Consider traffic andweather conditions when selecting thefollowing gap. The range of selectablegaps may not be appropriate for alldrivers and driving conditions.Changing the gap settingautomatically changes the alert timingsensitivity (Far, Medium, or Near) forthe Forward Collision Alert (FCA)feature.
