12 Interface for NZM compact circuit-breakers12.4 CommissioningSmartWire-DT modules IP20 09/17 MN05006001Z EN www.eaton.com 23312.3.1 Safety-related applicationsFor most applications, disconnection in the event of an emergency or the dis-connection by the opening of the protective doors is also required in additionto normal operational switching. This must be implemented with suitablecontactor controls. The circuit-breaker cannot be disconnected via an “emergency switchingoff”, i.e. by disconnecting the 24 V supply and is also not normally required.Without the 24 V power supply, the states of the circuit-breaker are notchanged and no longer displayed. In this case, bus operation is maintained.12.3.2 Mounting NZM-XSWD-704The module is fitted on a top-hat rail at a maximum distance of 2 m from thecircuit-breaker. A minimum clearance of 60 mm from the NZM must bemaintained.12.4 CommissioningThe automatic addressing of all modules in the SmartWire-DT network is per-formed via the gateway (actuation of the configuration pushbutton on thegateway) during commissioning. During the addressing process the Smart-Wire-DT diagnostics LED flashes. Once the addressing process is com-pleted, the LED indicates a green continuous light.12.5 Exchange of modulesAfter replacement of the modules and connection of the voltage the configu-ration button must be pressed. The new module is assigned an address bythis means.PROFIBUS-DP Data profile 1 Data profile 2 Data profile 3 Data profile 4Maximum numberNZM-XSWD-704/SWD line58 22 15 7CANopen Data profile 1 Data profile 2 Data profile 3 Data profile 4Maximum numberNZM-XSWD-704/SWD line42 11 8 4 DANGERThe exchange of the SmartWire-DT module must only be car-ried out with the supply switched off.NOTICEThe order of the SmartWire-DT units must not be altered.
