i-on Range Installer Menu OptionsPage 99RKP Entry Part SetIn a Part Set system or partition, instead of using an entry timer triggered by a Final Exitzone to allow the user to gain access to the control unit and unset the system, the usercan employ a radio keypad. To choose between either of these options select: SystemOptions – RKP Entry PrtSt. The options available are:Enabled The user must first trigger a Final Exit zone and start the entry timer beforeunsetting a Part Set system or partition with a radio keypad. The systemunsets those partitions the user is assigned to that have an active entrytimer. If a partition that the user is assigned to does not have an activeentry timer then the partition remains part set.Disabled The user can unset a Part Set system or partition using a radio keypadwithout first starting the entry timer. The system unsets all partitions thatthe user is assigned to.HUA ResponseNote: In a part setting system the HUA Response option appears in the System Optionsmenu. In a partitioned system, each partition can have its own HUA response, andtherefore each partition menu has a HUA Response menu option. In both cases theHUA Response menu option offers the same choices. See page 80 for a descriptionof these choices.Auto Rearm(Appears when System Options – Confirmation Mode is set to “Basic”, see page 89.)To change the number of times that the system will re-arm when the siren time expiresselect: System Options-Auto Rearm.Select NEVER to make the system never re-arm (the system will go into alarm once only).Select one of the other options to make the system re-arm once, twice, three, four or fivetimes, or always. The system re-arms all closed zones, but not detectors that are stillsending alarm signals. (Note that this setting is required in order to comply with EN50131.)If the system has rearmed, then when a user enters the system through the Final Exit doorthe control unit will give an audible internal alarm in place of the normal entry tone.Panel LoudspeakerLoudspeaker 1 (or 2)This option allows you to control the volume and the partition assignment of each of theloudspeaker(s) connected directly to the control unit.VolumeUse this option to change the volume of notification tones from loudspeakers connected toloudspeaker terminals 1 on the control unit (on an i-on160EX you can also change thevolume of loudspeaker 2). Press to lower the volume or to raise the volume. Thedisplay shows the current volume setting by a row of stars (for example “****”). Thisvolume control does NOT change the volume of alarm tones.Note: You can also press one of the number keys to specify the volume in a range 0 to 9.For example, pressing “8” gives you eight stars on the display.PartitionsIn a partitioned system you can assign the panel loudspeakers to any of the partitions. Anyloudspeaker can belong to one or more partitions.
