If the call does not succeed thenthe final message will be “Call Failed”.RemotesThe Test menu allows you to test user’s remote control (you must have the remote controlto carry out the test). From the Installer Menu select Test-Remotes.The keypad display shows a message asking you to press any button on the remote youwish to test.Press one of the remote’s buttons.The top line of the keypad display shows the remote’s identity, the button you pressed andthe remote’s owner. When testing a FOB-2W-4B the display identifies the buttons with aletter: “S” = Set, “U” = Unset, “?” = Query, and “*” = Part Set (or programmable).The bottom line of the display shows the action assigned to that button and the signalstrength. If the bottom line shows “>” then press for more information.Press all the other buttons on the remote to test them in the same way.User Hold Up AlarmsThe Test menu allows you to test user’s HUA transmitters. You must have the HUAtransmitter to carry out the test. From the Installer Menu select Test – User Hold UpAlarms.The keypad display shows a message asking you to press the HUA buttons.Press the HUA buttons, both at the same time. (The alarm system will not start a HUAalarm as a result.)The keypad display shows the HUA’s owner. The bottom line of the display shows thesignal strength.Note: To test wired HUA buttons use the Test – Walk Test option. To test HUA buttons ona keypad, use the Test – Wired Keypad option. If you attempt to test either of thesefunctions while in User Hold Up Alarms you will NOT start a genuine HUA.)Prox TagsThe Test menu allows you to test a user’s proximity tag. (You must have the proximity tagin order to test it.)
