Installer Menu Options i-on RangePage 100Once you have entered the Partitions option, press or to scroll through the list ofpartitions followed by or to allocate/deallocate the loudspeaker to each partition asnecessary.If you wish to allocate/deallocate the loudspeaker to many partitions you can use the “AllPartitions” option (in between the first and last partition on the menu) to either allocate ordeallocate the loudspeaker to all partitions in one operation. Once you have carried outthis operation you can then scroll through the partition list and change the allocation of theloudspeakers as necessary.Entry Alarm DelayUse this option to determine what the system will do if a user strays from an Entry Routezone during entry. (This option is available to provide compliance with EN 50131-1.)Select “Disabled” to make the system give an alarm immediately if the user strays from anentry route zone during entry. Note: This is not compliant with EN50131.If you select “Enabled” and the user strays from an entry route zone during entry then thesystem waits 30 seconds before raising a full alarm. The system also gives an internalalarm during the 30 second wait.If the user enters an access code or presents a tag before the end of the 30 secondsinternal alarm then the user can reset the system.Abort TimeUse this option to change Alarm Abort Delay period. The timer can take any value in therange 0 to 120 seconds.The control unit starts the Alarm Abort Delay timer whenever it starts an alarm. If a usersilences the alarm within the Abort Delay period, the alarm will not require an engineer orremote reset.If an alarm occurs and a user unsets the system within the Alarm Abort Delay period thenthe control unit activates any output of type Alarm Abort (page 67) and starts any AlarmAbort Fast Format communications programmed.SupervisionIf a wirefree detector loses contact for more than 20 minutes then the control unit logs theevent as “RF Warning”. In addition, the control unit inhibits setting. If a user overrides theinhibition then the control unit logs the event as an RF warning override.If a wirefree detector loses contact for more than two hours then the control unit raises analarm. The options available for this alarm are:Option: With system SET, the controlunit:With system UNSET the controlunit:Off Does nothing. Does nothing.Fault Logs the event (but does NOTdisplay any alert or fault tone).Activates any “RF Supervision” or“RF Fault” outputs.Displays an Alert and sounds a faulttone and logs the event.Activates any “RF Supervision” or“RF Fault” outputs.Tamper Starts a Tamper alarm and notifiesthe ARC with a “Supervision”message.Notes: 1.
