Installer Menu Options i-on RangePage 78Instant Set The system sets immediately and without any settingtone. The keypad(s) give confirmation tone when thesystem is set.Note: This option does not comply with BS8243:2010.Silent Set The system sets after the time programmed in theEntry/Exit Time menu but does not give any exit tonesover the loudspeaker or keypad. When the systemsets the keypad (but not the loudspeaker) gives adouble beep confirmation tone.(The keypad(s) give a double beep confirmation toneat the end of all setting modes.)The control unit logs the start of silent set.On entry both keypads and loudspeakers give entrytones.Note: This option does not comply with BS8243:2010.Lock Set Lock Set exit mode affects both setting and unsetting.To use Lock Set exit mode you must provide a LockSet zone (see page 49) connected to a suitable lockon the final exit door, and you must also provide aFinal Exit zone (see page 46) connected to the finalexit door.Eaton’s Security Business recommends that you donot use Lock Set within a Part Set. The results maynot function as described below.Setting: To set the system a user must first start thesetting sequence by using an access code or prox tagat a keypad, or by remote control.After verifying the access code or prox the control unitstarts the exit tone and logs the start of lock set.(During exit the control unit gives an interrupted exittone if the final exit zone is active.)The exit tone sounds until the user a) closes the FinalExit door and then b) operates the lock connected tothe Lock Set zone, activating the zone.When the user activates the Lock Set zone the controlunit sets the system when the Settle Time expires.The control unit also starts the settle time (if specified,see page 80) at the end of which any PIR zonesbecome armed.In addition, the control unit:Converts the Final Exit zone in the set partition toa Normal Alarm zone.Logs the activation of the Lock Set zone.Unsetting: If the system or partition is set then whena user de-activates the Lock Set zone, the controlunit:
