If a user code is required, then on entry of the code thesystem resets, and the keypad displays the time and date.Programming Backlight and LEDs on KEY-K01/KP01/KPZ01On the KEY-K01/KP0/KPZ01 keypads you can enable or disable the backlights and setthe function of the LEDs in the ABCD and navigation keys by entering a local keypadprogramming mode (this replaces the use of jumpers on the keypad PCB in the i-kp01). Itis possible to enter keypad programming mode when the keypad is not connected to acontrol unit, but simply powered by 12VDC connected to the keypad bus terminal (see theinstallation guide for each keypad for details). If the keypad IS connected to a control unitthen make sure that the control unit is in Installer Menu before entering the keypad’s localprogramming mode.Entering Local Programming Mode1.
