The control unit will not display zones with type Not Used.Programming Zone Alarm OutputsOutput type 40 allows you to program Zone Alarm Outputs.The control unit activates a Zone Alarm output when a selected zone is active while setand capable of causing an alarm. The control unit deactivates the output when a userresets the alarm.There are restrictions to the types of zone that a Zone Alarm output can work with.1. The zone must be capable of causing an alarm. This means that Zone Alarm outputswork with the following zone types:Fire Alarm, Normal Alarm, Entry Route, Tamper, 24 Hour, Technical. A Final Exit zonewill also cause an alarm if the Enty Time runs out before the user unsets the system.2. The selected zone must be set.In a part setting system either the system must be full set, or the zone must belong tothe part set that the user has selected.In a partitioned system ALL the partitions that the zone belongs to must be set. If apartition is part set the zone must belong to the part set that the user has selected.3. Fire Alarm zones are an exception: they will cause an alarm whether the zone is set orunset.In the Installer Menu, while programming a Zone Alarm output type, the control unit givesyou the following options:PolarityPolarity can be either Normal or Inverted.
