Refer to “Configuringresources — media bay modules” on page 135.A number of settings affect all lines or sets, including System Speed dialand voice mail access numbers. Most of these settings are default.However, confirm that they suit your purposes. Refer to “Configuringsystem settings” on page 459.When the media bay modules are installed, the system automaticallyassigns line or loop numbers. You may need to change some of the linesettings. Refer to “Configuring lines” on page 239.DNs define each telephone or piece of equipment connected to thesystem. Within the System DNs headings, you can define how individualtelephones will interact in the system. Refer to “Configuring DNs forsystem devices” on page 399. IP telephone configuration is contained inthe IP Telephony Configuration Guide.After the basic telephony information is set, you can configure thespecial features such as Schedules, Hunt groups, Hospitality services,portable handsets, and voice mail.
