For information on how to change the activeconfiguration, refer to “Changing the MSC configuration” on page 629.DTMF ConfigurationThe DTMF configuration sets the length of the DTMF tones generated by BusinessCommunications Manager.The system DTMF length may need to be adjusted because of detection errors. For example, somecellular phone tones are closer to the short DTMF millisecond range. If a company is havingtrouble with cellular phone connections, it may be necessary to change the DTMF length to 30milliseconds.To set the DTMF length:1 On the navigation tree, click the Resources key and click the Media Services Card key.2 Click the DTMF Configuration heading.The DTMF Configuration screen appears.3 In the DTMF length box, enter a value between 30 and 60.This value is the length of the tone in milliseconds.4 Press the Tab key to save your settings.Maximum Enter the maximum number of resources this component can use.Enter MAX to allow this component to use as many of the available DSP resources as is allowedby the License Limit or the Hardware Limit.License Limit Shows the maximum number of resources that are allowed for this component based on thesoftware licenses purchased for this system.You can increase the License limit of a component by entering keycodes.
