LSM 510 OPERATION IN EXPERT MODELSM 510 META Process Menu Carl Zeiss03/06 B 45-0021 e 4-1354.6.4.3 Formula PanelThe formulas can be typed in using the keyboard.• Click the Operators button to open thepermissible operators list.• Select the operator(s) from this list (Fig. 4-116)and click the Insert button.The operators will be inserted into the formulaat the cursor position. By highlighting theselected operator a description of the functionof this operator is displayed in the lower part ofthe operators list.The calculation works pixel by pixel and starts withthe upper left pixel irregardless of the image size ofthe two images or image series.When choosing images of different datadepth the check box next to Intensityrange 1…0 should be marked. Theimage intensity for all images will then benormalized to values between 1 and 0.4.6.5 Copy (Channel)The Copy function permits one channel each of anexisting image to be copied and stored as a newimage.The selection of Source, Channel and Destination ismade in the same way as in the Add function (seeAdd, page 4-129).4.6.5.1 Open / Close the Copy Window• Click on the Copy button in the Processsubordinate toolbar of the Main menu.− This opens the Copy window.• Click on the Close button to quit the Copywindow.4.6.5.2 Performance of the Copy Function• Select Source, Channel and Destination and then click on the Apply button.Fig. 4-116 Operators windowFig. 4-117 Copy window
