Tools LSM 510 DuoScanCarl Zeiss Stand Select LSM 510 META DuoScan6-22 B 45-0021 e 03/066.2.2 Stand SelectThe Stand Select tool permits a new or updateddatabase to be assigned to the LSM 510 softwareprogram. This function should preferably beperformed by authorized service personnel.If this is not possible, proceed as follows:• Close the LSM 510 software program and double-click on the Stand Select icon on the desktop.− The Select Stand Database window appears on the screen. The currently used database isdisplayed in the Database box.• Click on the Browse button to activate the newdatabase.− The Open window appears on the screen.• Select the directory where the new database isstored.• Click on the name of the database (fileextension: *.mdb) and then on the Openbutton.− The Open window is closed and the nameof the new database appears in theDatabase box.• Click on the Permanent button. The SelectName window appears.• Select the relevant stand icon from the Icon listbox and click on OK. The Select Name windowis closed and the desktop icon is updated.• Then click on the OK button in the SelectStand Database ... window to accept the newsettings and to close the window.
