OPERATION IN EXPERT MODE LSM 510 DuoScanCarl Zeiss Maintain Menu LSM 510 META DuoScan4-234 B 45-0021 e 03/064.10.2 ObjectiveThis function permits changed objectives to beactivated and the parfocality to be set withouthaving to exit the software.4.10.2.1 Objective Change• Change the required objective in the nosepiece.• Click on the Objective button in the Maintainsubordinate toolbar of the Main menu.− The Objective Control window appears onthe screen. The Objective button isactivated in accordance with the presetting,and the Objective panel is displayed in theObjective Control window.• Click on the graphical button of the relevantnosepiece mount (Position).− The Change Objective window appears.All available objectives are listed in the PotentialObjectives directory of the Change Objectivewindow.• Select the new objective by double clicking fromthe list in the Potential Objectives directory.• Click on Close to exit the Change Objectivewindow.(1) Add ObjectiveThis function permits new objectives to be addedto the database.For this, proceed as follows:• Click on the Add Objective button on theChange Objective window.− The Create new Objective window isopened.Fig. 4-230 Objective Control windowFig. 4-231 Change Objective window
