From menu 6.5, select option 5 to reset the integration link. Menu 6.5.5appears, with only the Enter Integration Link Number: field displayed.2. Enter the link number, and the Link Number and Link Name columnheads appear, with the designated link number and name displayed inthe columns. A prompt, Reset Link? (Y/N): is displayed at the bottomof the screen.3. Select Y to reset the link or N to leave it as is.4.8.5.6 Integration-Link Status. To view the status of the integration link, performthe following steps:1. Select option 6 from menu 6.5. The first screen of menu 6.5.6 appearswith only the Enter Integration Link Number: field displayed.2. Enter the number of the link to be viewed, and the remaining fields appear.3. After viewing the first screen, press the Enter key to continue, and thesecond screen is displayed.4. After viewing the second screen, press the Enter key to continue to thethird screen.5. Type C to clear the statistics or press the Enter key to return to thefirst screen.4.9 VERIFYING XC1000 OPERATIONUse the checklists in sections 4.9.1 through 4.9.4 to ensure that theXC1000 has been installed and is operating correctly. The installer mustset up a few basic features (such as dialing parameters and a mailbox) tocheck the operation of XC1000.4.9.1 Testing the PrinterThe information in this section, about testing the printer, refers to a printerattached to an HP 700/43 only. Perform the following steps to test the printer:Do not press the Copy Pr key while the Main Menu is dis-played. Pressing the Copy Pr key at the Main Menu beforeentering any other menus causes the printer to stop working.If this occurs, turn the printer power off and back on.Caution!1. Test the printer by printing a screen. Press the Shift and Print Pgkeys simultaneously to print the screen displayed on the SMT.2. Press the Copy Pr key to print screens continuously The word COP isdisplayed at the bottom of the screen. Turn off the continuousprinting by pressing the Copy Pr key again.If these features operate correctly, go to the next group of tests. If a featuredoes not work, refer to sections 4.2.3 and 4.2.4.SECTION 4.8 – 4.9
